The Dreamville signee has previously explained the grueling process of her debut tape coming together, detailing how it’s time for the world to hear her music. “Everything happens for a reason,” she explained, “and I feel like it makes me stronger. But I’m also just like, ‘Yo, it’s time for this project to drop […] A lot of these songs I’ve been holding on to for a long time. I just want the world to hear them. And then, finally, I can exhale.”
In a new post on Instagram, Ari shared an image of a hard drive with her name taped on it with a caption that reads how the album is complete. “My debut album is finished. The masters are in. #SheaButterBaby coming soon,” she wrote.
While there’s no set date yet, the announcement is enough to hold us over in the meantime. Who’s here for this??
